Join this highly ethical and globally recognised wildlife rescue and rehabilitation centre, with a strong focus on primates, and help make a genuine difference to the lives of African wildlife. In the last 10 years, this project has released over 450 animals back into the wild, including a troop of 17 previously orphaned baboons.
In some instances an animal isn’t able to be released due to illness, injury or other factors and these individuals live out their lives in comfort and freedom on the sanctuary as our permanent residents. The sanctuary cares not only for primates but also rare and endangered species such as pangolins and vultures, and larger herbivores such as giraffe, impala, kudu, zebra, warthog and bush pig that roam freely within the sanctuary – and not forgetting smaller creatures like hedgehogs, mongoose and owls.
The wildlife sanctuary is a non-profit organisation and relies on public donations and income from its volunteer program to keep operating. Every single volunteer allows numerous animals to be saved !
