"10/10 My 3 weeks spent in the beautiful village of Samraong was absolutely incredible. There’s not just one thing I can say I enjoyed the most out of all my experiences, the whole time was unreal! Although you hear it from everyone, I genuinely made lifelong friends with like-minded volunteers. I loved Cambodian culture and meeting the great coordinators and school kids, and I really do want to come back again! The accommodation was great. It was a nice communal little complex which made it homely and relaxing. As for the food, it was sooooo delicious! " Kaela
This community operated school in the remote village of Samraong teaches English to children from poorer backgrounds. The education is totally free and attendance entirely optional so the appearance of hundreds of eager students each day is testament to the engaging and fun environment the school provides. English classes are operated by volunteers under the guidance of our native Cambodian manager and teacher. No experience is necessary, just the energy and enthusiasm to make a difference. Our local teachers will help you with preparing and planning lessons and taking charge of your class, following our structured curriculum and weekly testing cycles. You will either teach alone or as part of a team with other international volunteers, which allows for smaller group engagement and when needed, one-on-one help for students. Come to Cambodia and be a part of this incredible community initiative. Snapshot
