“Living and Teaching in Thailand for two months was one of the most rewarding and life changing experiences of my life.” Jess
Teach English to the enthusiastic youngsters of Kanchanaburi province and really make a difference on this two-month teaching internship and travel experience. This is a fantastic opportunity for you to gain classroom experience, learning practical skills and gaining confidence working alongside a local teacher, with children aged 6-18 years old. To top it off, you’ll get to spend time living in to live and work in Thailand, and in one of the country’s most beautiful provinces, Kanchanaburi.
The internship is for native English speakers who want to develop their teaching skills and give meaningful help to some of the many school children in Thailand who lack access to high-standard English-language tuition.
No experience is required. We’re simply looking for committed people with a genuine interest in teaching and helping children to develop their English language skills. Prior to travel, you’ll complete a 120-hour online TEFL/TESOL training course and this qualification is fully included. Whilst English is the only academic subject interns will be asked to teach, you should also be willing to help in any other areas of school activity as required: sports, dance, arts and crafts etc.
The internship runs three times a year, starting in June, July and November, with an average group size of around 30. Fully supported throughout, this internship program is designed for students, gap-year travellers and first-time teachers. It is a unique travel experience in its own right or as a stepping stone to further teaching roles.
