Surin province is the elephant capital of Thailand, where these giants of the animal kingdom are part of the family.  But this particular part of the family costs a fortune to maintain, eating mum and dad out of house and home – so your presence and contribution provides vital income as well as assistance for the villagers, enabling them to maintain their traditions and keep their pachyderms close.

During your stay you will be welcomed into everyday village life, you will learn about and actively help with all the elephant related tasks – of which keeping them fed and keeping them clean are the key elements.  You’ll absolutely love bath time down at the river !
